Boise IDAHO Refugee services

COPY/PASTE from Boise, Idaho, idahorefugees.org. Twin Falls has no such volunteer services, we are drowning in low function refugees who are desperately needy.

Boise Community Partners

These local farms and businesses have supported us by making in-kind donations such as seeds, plants, and free equipment rentals. Many of these farmers have also collaborated by teaching refugee farmers, through our winter training course, farm tours, direct employment, and other opportunities. Please help us by patronizing these farms and other businesses.

Did you know that the Fresh Fund matches EBT purchases up to $10 at the market?

Thanks to a grant from the Wholesome Wave Foundation, as well as numerous other local donations, we are able to provide a 2-for-1 program for EBT users. When users scan their EBT cards for $10, they also recieve $10 in Fresh Funds Coupons, good to spend with vendors on fresh, local foods. Because farmers’ markets, and fresh foods in general, tend to be more expensive than packaged, grocery store foods, this extra incentive helps level the playing field a bit by giving EBT users more buying power. Research by the Wholesome Wave Foundation and others has found that just a $5-10 incentive is effective in drawing EBT shoppers to the market who might not otherwise choose to shop with local farmers

How it works:

Users bring their EBT cards to the red tent in the middle of the market, where it says EBT Accepted Here. We also accept debit and credit cards at this location. A volunteer will scan the card and give the user wooden tokens to spend with the vendors, like cash. The vendors are reimbursed for the sales later. The volunteer will also give the customer up to 10 free $1 coupons, for each dollar spent on his or her EBT card. So, the customer has charged $10 to his or her EBT account, but has $20 to spend at the market

Who will you trust?

The madness is overwhelming; liars, cheats, and frauds everyone… or is there still a “good side”?

It is impossible for you to hide, covering your eyes won’t avail you anything.  The ignorant and informed alike will fall into the net, the trap is in full view but you can’t avoid stepping in it.  What you can do is pick your team.  You can decide to do good or to do evil, to educate and inform or deceive, to fight for your community or take your ease while destruction befalls us.

How do you pick the “right” team?  Who is the right team?  Is the right team ultimately the winning team?

Qualifications of being ‘right’.  Being right necessarily requires that you know what truth is and live it.  If truth isn’t an absolute in your soul you do not have the most necessary element to decide who is “right”.  Our Founding Fathers built our nation on a Declaration of Independence, which they founded upon truth.

“We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.”

How did they become so certain of truth that they risked their lives, reputations, and wealth for it?  They declared their independence upon it and in so doing built our country, it’s religious value system, our government, and the moral conscience of our nation by that same TRUTH.

“The laws of nature and of nature’s God”, Thomas Jefferson penned the Declaration, he also carried a Greek Grammer book with him and was thoroughly schooled in Latin and Greek.  Jefferson was an avid reader and book collector, tutored during his youth by various ministers. Using Greek and the Bible, wherein God would have been revealed to our founders, we can define nature and nature’s God the same way Jefferson would have.  Grab your Bible and your Greek Grammar book.

GOD:  first use of the word in the Greek; Mat 1:23
“Behold, the virgin shall be with child, and bear a Son, and they shall call His name Immanuel,” which is translated, “God with us.”   Ἐμμανουήλ Emmanouḗl, em-man-oo-ale’; of Hebrew origin (H6005); God with us; Emmanuel, a name of Christ:—Emmanuel.

This is our national heritage and our foundation, we have no other God or hope.  Once we accepts nature’s laws and nature’s God we find it easier to pick our team.  If you oppose the laws of nature you won’t find your able to accept nature’s God either.  They are inseparable.  If you accept nature’s God, you will bring your natural laws under nature’s God. Decision making becomes clear and logical, you will discern right from wrong and find your convictions stem from that immovable truth.
